Able Brewing Disk Fine Coffee Filter for Aeropress Coffee & Espresso Maker - Stainless Steel Reusable

The Able Fine DISK Coffee Filter is made from stainless steel and this allows more oil into your coffee (rather than being caught in a paper filter). You end up with more body in your coffee. More oil is not good or bad, just a personal preference.

Being stainless steel also means this AeroPress filter is reusable. This is great if you are on the move, no more single use paper filters to keep track of and store.

Users note the DISK is easy to keep clean, but sometimes grinds can get stuck in the holes. You are also best to clean the filter straight after use to avoid any drying grinds sticking to the surface of the filter.

There is also a STANDARD DISK version, which is not as easy to bend and allows a bit more fines in your coffee. The FINE version is one third as thick as the STANDARD.

Just remember not to erroneously throw the filter in the bin, along with your grinds, when cleaning up.
